With New Year’s coming, a lot of people are going to make the resolution to lose weight and to get into shape. This is something that many people today choose to do even when it isn’t time for resolutions. It can be tough to track progress and make sure that you are where you want to be in your fitness regimen.

Move over fitbit because there is a new activity tracker that is all the craze. The company Withings offers the Activite Pop in coral pink. This looks like a typical watch to the naked eye, however it is far from it. There is no charging with this watch as it has an eight month battery life, is water resistant, and has a silent alarm. This tracks activity as well as sleep and syncs to your phone to help you track progress. Finding the app was very simple and to download it took no more than a minute. I have not encountered any issues with the app. When wearing the watch, I didn’t experience any skin irritation. This watch is lightweight and keeps time as well. What I thought was really neat about this, is if you have friends with this watch, you can challenge them so to speak. It will show your friends’ activity and it provides competition which is also really good for some people who are competitive.

So, how accurate is this in tracking? That was the true question here and I set out for an answer. After using this and another device to track my progress, this was extremely accurate. It really surprised me because I mean this is a watch, so you would think it would have some kind of error with it being on the wrist, but that is not the case at all. This is one of those products that not only looks great, but lives up to it’s promises from the company.

  1. I have not seen this before. I have fallen in love with tracking my steps and seeing how far I go has become addicting. I love that this is a watch you wear.

  2. These look great! I have a bright orange jawbone, but it is so bright and clunky I don’t use it much. These are much more subtle.
