The Ninja® Intelli-Sense™ Kitchen System is magic in a box! It easily can make smoothies, salsa, dough and much more in just a few seconds. When I first heard I was getting this Ninja I was super excited.

With New Year resolutions just around the corner, I have been busy working on getting my ‘body’ back into action. Figure almost everyone has the New Year resolution of being more healthier and loosing a few pounds.

However, working around the clock, it was getting tougher and tougher to lose that stubborn belly fat to get that shape I so desired. But with the Ninja, it helps provide me with nutritional meals with a simple push.

Each morning I take my protein power, fruits, veggies and sometimes I’ll mix in granola, yogurt and peanut butter. The Ninja breaks down fruits and veggies and extracts nutrient and vitamins. Within just a few days of this new diet I felt better, stronger and leaner. The best part is it doesn’t take up any more than 3 minutes. It is so convenient to use and prevents dishes and a mess. It is also so slim and doesn’t take up much space in our home.

The Ninja Intelli-Sense doesn’t only make smoothies however. It can puree fresh veggies and fruit for dips, salads, soups and pies; it can make dough, spiralize veggies to make squash spaghetti or sweet potato fries!

It truly makes things so much easier to eat healthier and it seems that my fruits and veggies get used up so quickly now, rather than just going bad. Of course, there is a bit of talent and creativity when owning such a system, but Ninja does an amazing job giving you a recipe idea book and offering many more on their website for tasty ideas!

Here is a simple recipe to try!

Sweet Potato Curly Fries

3 medium sweet potatoes, peeled, trimmed
2 tablespoons canola oil
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Honey Mustard Sauce
1/2 cup Dijon mustard
1/2 cup honey
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions:

  2. Place all Honey Mustard Sauce ingredients in a bowl and whisk until combined; set aside.
  3. Position Spaghetti Blade onto Collecting Bowl and assemble Feed Chute Lid. Place sweet potato into feed chute; secure on Blade Disc pin. Firmly secure pusher. Select START/STOP; process sweet potato. Transfer sweet potato noodles to a mixing bowl and set aside. Repeat process with second and third sweet potatoes.
  4. Toss sweet potato noodles with oil, salt, and pepper. Evenly distribute on prepared baking sheet. Bake 40 to 45 minutes, tossing gently every 15 minutes, until golden brown. Serve with Honey Mustard Sauce.

For extra flavor, add some chili powder, cumin, and cinnamon when roasting the sweet potatoes.
