I love my, “Pool Buoy,” and I’m not writing about the one who brings my drinks and straightens my towels. I love my, “Pool Buoy,” the world’s first and only floating umbrella. While I love spending hours relaxing in the sun and the pool, it is essential I protect my skin from the harsh and damaging effects of the sun. I can and do apply and re-apply my SPF 30 sunscreen lotion, I need more protection.

This new, innovative product was introduced in May this year and sun worshipers are already taking advantage of the floating umbrella and enjoying more fun and less sun. It’s a win-win. Recently when I had a pool party, my friends and I took turns under the, “Pool Buoy,” and honestly I could have used two of them. The best thing about it is the fact it doesn’t tip over with the wind gusts we experience in Hawaii.

The seven-foot tall beach-style umbrella has a trendy look and is made from sturdy aluminum. What I love is how the umbrella cover is made of a fabric with its own Ultraviolet protection of 95. Yes, 95! It gives me peace of mind to have that extra protection against the intense rays of the sun. There is no danger of tipping because the umbrella fits into the buoy securely. And who doesn’t love to have a place for their tropical pool drinks? I do. “Pool Buoy,” gives my five cup holders inset on the buoy so I know my friends and I are always hydrated with our favorite cocktails.
