Mineral Hygienics SPF Foundation is all natural. It is rich with both Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide. Both of these minerals block harmful UVA and UVB sun rays so you can feel confident that your skin is being protected from the harmful rays of the sun that can cause sun induced skin damage.  The foundation has no fillers and only contains four ingredients:  Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide, and Mica Iron Oxide. Find the whole ingredient list here.

The starter kit will have two shades of foundation so that you will always have a perfect match for your complexion.  As the seasons change from Winter to Summer, our complexion changes along with it.  You may prefer to blend two shades together to obtain that perfect customized shade. Mineral Hygienics is super concentrated, so a little will definitely go a long way.

Mineral Hygienics lays on top of the skin, rather than in the skin. Many super light minerals overlap each other to provide a super sheer finish. Mineral Hygienics will reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and imperfections. Traditional cream based foundations actually do the opposite, they mimic your skin and all of the imperfections that we are trying so hard to hide. Mineral Hygienics uses a natural product called mica which reflects light to give your skin a natural, luminous look.

Mineral Hygienics works well with problem skin.  It is recommended by doctors, surgeons, and dermatologists.  It is also safe for those dealing with acne, rosacea, sensitive, dry, and oily skin.

Take your time when working with minerals. You will soon find an application method that works great for you. You’ll appreciate the evenness of the color, and concentration that the powder allows for light or heavy coverage. Always remember: A little goes a long ways!!!

It is a great camouflage for flaws and discolorations.  You can wear it on your neck, arms, legs…just about anywhere that you feel you may need some extra coverage.

Prepare your brush:

Pour out a small amount of the minerals into the lid of the foundation jar. Swirl the brush in the jar, most of the minerals should disappear and be consumed by the brush. Tap the brush against the rim to set the minerals in the brush. This also should knock off any excess minerals on the outside of the brush. You do not want to have the minerals visible on the outside perimeter of the brush.

Tip: To set the minerals even further into the brush; tap the brush vertically one the end of the handle so the minerals will go straight down into the bristles. This method may require more buffing, but is helpful in situations where coverage is thick or un-even.

Mineral Hygienics has a wide variety of products, for the lips, eyes, foundation and more!

This holiday give the gift of Mineral Hygienics and remind the one you love how beautiful they really are.
